Mother’s Day  Message

“The Greatest Gift Is Love

 1 Corinthians 13:13 NIV

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” —

Good evening, everyone. Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful mothers, grandmothers, caregivers, and women of faith gathered here tonight.

When we think about family, many of us dream about the “perfect family.” But the truth is, no family is perfect. Every family has its joys, challenges, victories, and struggles. What makes a family special is not perfection—it is love.

God gives each family its own story, its own memories, and its own way of caring for one another. Through difficult times and happy moments, family reminds us that we are never truly alone.

That is why the Bible says the greatest gift is love. Love holds families together when life gets hard. Love forgives, encourages, supports, and keeps showing up day after day.

I was reminded of this beautiful saying called
“Grandma’s Recipe for a Loving Family.
It says:
Mix love with loyalty and faith.
Blend in tenderness, kindness, and understanding.
Add friendship and hope.
Sprinkle generously with laughter.
And serve it daily with love.
What a beautiful reminder that strong families are built one loving moment at a time.

Tonight, let us appreciate the families God has given us, cherish one another, and remember that the greatest blessing we can share is love.

Happy Mother’s Day, and may God continue to bless every home represented here tonight.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the gift of family, love, and togetherness. Bless every mother, grandmother, and caregiver here tonight. Fill our homes with faith, hope, laughter, forgiveness, and unconditional love. Help us cherish one another and always remember that the greatest gift you gave us is love.

In Jesus’ name, Amen

RESURRECTION DAY Psalm 30:5 (NLT) "DON’T MISREAD THE MOMENT”

Psalm 30:5 (NLT) Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.

We’re here to celebrate something powerful—But before we celebrate, I want to share one simple truth with you:

                                  JESUS IS ALIVE!

FRIDAY: Pain / Sadness. Jesus died, and it looked like hope was gone.

SATURDAY:  Silence / Waiting. Nothing seemed to be happening. But God was still working.

SUNDAY: Joy / Power. Jesus rose from the grave! Hope came back to life.

Sometimes your Friday feels hard. Sometimes your Saturday feels quiet. But don’t give up, your Sunday is coming!

If you ever feel sad or like nothing is happening, don’t misread the moment. God is still working. God still loves you. Something good is on the way.

The story didn’t end on Friday. It didn’t stay quiet on Saturday. Sunday came, and Jesus rose!

GOOD FRIDAY: LOVE THAT SAVES

Psalm 86:5 NLT

O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.

“Good Friday is a special day because it shows just how much Jesus loves us. He loved us so much that He chose to make a way for us to be close to God forever. Today isn’t a sad day; it’s a thankful day. We celebrate because Jesus’ love is bigger than anything scary or hard. And because of Him, we can have hope, joy, and a brand‑new start.
