We were Blessed to be featured as January's Family of the Month
Sister Audrey Breaux |
Audrey has been married to her husband John
for 50 years. Sister Audrey is originally from Los Angeles CA. She has lived in Victorville for 4 years. She
has two daughters; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. After
coming to Friendly Temple to visit, she found that the people exemplified the
church name “Friendly.” She has been a member of the Friendly Temple family for
2 yrs. She also led her daughter Latrese & husband Bobby Scott to Friendly
Temple as well as granddaughter Shauntay & husband Keon Walker and their
children who are now members. Other family members love visiting Friendly
Temple when they are in town from college or the military. Audrey attends, and
enjoys the preaching and singing at the 11:30 am service. Her favorite scripture
is John 3:16 and she knows she has been blessed with the gift of HELPS (Having
Enough Loving People Serving). She is
dedicated to loving God, His Word and His people.
Audrey is a Core member within the Prayer and Bible Band auxiliary. The Core provides outreach to the Homeless and Convalescent. She is also a member of the Christian Women’s Council. Sis Audrey retired after twenty-nine years with the Federal Government and now enjoys spending time with her family; machine quilting, cooking and scrapbooking.
